Volunteering
Volunteering can be a very rewarding experience. North Vista Hospital invites you to share your time and talent with our visitors, patients and staff. Volunteers are found in every area of the hospital – from administrative offices to patient care areas.
Volunteer Opportunities at North Vista:
Please note that these are unpaid positions. Must be age 18 or older to volunteer.
- Administrative Support
Weekdays during hours of your choice between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Use your general office and computer skills to assist various departments throughout the hospital. - Book Cart
Collect and sanitize books and magazines. Deliver books and magazines to patient rooms, visiting with patients when they wish to visit. - Emergency Room
Greet visitors and patients, provide magazines, children’s books, blankets, coffee and water to patients and visitors, operate the TV remote, escort visitors to the Emergency Room. - Main Lobby Information Desk
Greet, assist and escort visitors, deliver flowers and mail to patient rooms. - Outpatient Waiting Room
Weekdays from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Greet patients arriving for outpatient procedures and ask them to sign in at the Outpatient Admitting desk. - Special Events
Scheduled throughout the year, special events include health fairs and community education events.
