Director of Surgical Services

A healthcare leader with over thirteen years of experience in the Perioperative setting and experience in multiple specialized service lines ranging from general surgery, Robotics, to Neurosurgical procedures. Contreras oversees the Perioperative service lines and Bariatric department. She volunteers at her local church and finds it rewarding to give back to the community.

As a two-time cancer survivor as a child, she is very passionate about providing the best empathetic and compassionate care to each and every patient. She became a nurse to make an impact on patients’ lives, striving to provide the utmost care and kindness that she was given as a patient. She received her RN BSN degree from New Mexico State university.
