The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Quality Indicators (QIs) are measures of health care quality that make use of readily available hospital inpatient administrative data.

Hospital Compare

This tool provides you with information on how well the hospitals in Southern Nevada (or any where in the United States) care for all their adult patients with certain medical conditions. This information will help you compare the quality of care hospitals provide. Hospital Compare was created through the efforts of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and organizations that represent hospitals, doctors, employers, accrediting organizations, other Federal agencies and the public.

IHI – Institute for Healthcare Improvement

The Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) is a not-for-profit organization leading the improvement of health care throughout the world. North Vista Hospital actively participates in many IHI initiatives.

Leapfrog Group

Leapfrog is working to make reporting health care quality and outcomes a routine feature of the US health care system. They provide information on health care quality so that you can compare hospitals and make an informed choice about where you receive care. North Vista Hospital annually completes and participates in the Leapfrog Group survey.

NQF – National Quality Forum

Nevada Department of Health and Human Services (NDHHS)

The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services regulates and provides information about healthcare clinicians and services in the State of Nevada.

Det Norske Veritas (DNV)

DNV Healthcare offers hospital accreditation approved by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Annual deemed status surveys are an essential component of hospital accreditation through DNV. North Vista Hospital has been accredited by DNV since July 2009.
